Poco has been around since 1961 and has been run entirely by volunteers since that time. Lots of people have donated their time and energy to helping keep Poco alive for future generations. You can help too.
There are lots of capital improvements we’d like to make to the facility, and if you donate some of the smaller things, we can put your membership money toward the bigger things. Thank you for your donations in advance!
Some of the things we need are:
- Swim diapers (all sizes)
- Concessions: pop, candy, hot dogs, buns, paper plates, cups – we’ll take anything
- Bleach wipes
- Trash bags for 55-gallon trash cans
- Lids for the trash cans
- Your old fridge – the one you’re getting rid of
- Shade umbrellas (we lose a few every year)
- Swing set – you know, the one your kids aren’t using any more? We’ll take it. We’ll disassemble it and move it too.
- Sunscreen for the guards
- Gravel for the parking lot
- Grading the parking lot
- Lounge chairs
- Stopwatches
